I have had them in the past, If set up properly they can be easy to keep. Otherwise in my experience they wither away and eventually die. I set them up like a desert spiny. 100 degrees at the basking spot, and somewhere in the eighties at the other end. I used a vita light on one end, wich never gets shut off until the cool down period. And I used a 100 watt basking bulb on the other end wich is the basking spot. That bulb was turned off every nite when I went to bed. And turned on in the morning. For subtrate I used to get sandy soil from the back yard and put it in a large pot and bake it in the oven to kill off anything in the soil. They love slabs of granite, stacked so they could hide in the cracks. I put in a tumble weed under the vita light side wich went all the way to the top and allowed them to climb right up under the vita light. After I did this there colors got intence. If you have anymore questions about them post here or email me at mtnsnakeman@excite.com. Can you get any more? I am looking to start a breeding program, so more of these gems will be available for others to enjoy. I am looking for 2.4. Or would you sell yours?
