I keep all my hatchlings in a tub that is three feet long and a foot wide. I place a piece of wood or a book under one end, This will give me a depth of about a half inch at one end and two and a half inches at the other end. I use broken terra cotta pots as hide outs (they like to hide) and rocks and wood as basking sites. I use three or four basking sites in the deep end just for a resting place and keep the hide outs in the shallow end. I feed them only sticks untill they are about six months old then I add rosie reds, and chopped red fruits every now and then. I have 10 month olds that were hatched the day my daughter was born and they are already over two and a half inches raised in this set up. Hope this helps, Tom
