I've been keeping records of my California Kingsnake's eating, growth, shedding, and defecating. I PaintShopped them into a little graph and thought that I'd put the graph on here. I should talk more about the whole deep substrate stuff, but I want to do a few other things tonight. I'll try to write that post later. The short version is that he's been under his water dish most of the time but still makes tunnels in the substrate. After defecating this afternoon, he went into the substrate. If he comes out, I'll try to weigh him.

I didn't weigh the sheds or the feces. I arbitrarily assigned them numbers so that their dates would appear on the graph.

If anyone sees anything important here, please let me know.

Bill

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.
