i have my 2" spotted turtle set up in a 5 gal tank with plenty of cover(loose strands from plastic aquarium plants),a,rock island, and about 4" of water.i have 3 fish in there with the turtle;a 2" chain pickerel,a 2" madtom catfish, and a 1 1/2" bluegill.the fish all have their own haunts in the tank, and the turtle goes everywhere.the turtle is thriving, and they all eat the same foods;bloodworms & tubifex worms.i have a full spectrum flourescent bar light, and good filtration.will this set-up work in the long run?i'll take fish out as they get too big.
