I have 2 anoles, one male one female. I bought them ignorant of the fact that a male can stress out a female in the same enclosure.
I am now preparing to separate them as the female does not look very healthy, and I suspect it is due to stress. The male looks great.
My question: would it be better to move the male or the female to the new tank? On the one hand I don't want to stress female more by moving her, on the other hand the male is already healthy and at home in old tank. And lastly, I may have to move which ever one I can catch!
Any advice on which lizard to move and any tips on how to safely move them would be so greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much!
