That's great! It really is, thank you so much for posting that.
Scooter is a boy no doubt because his tail is a big ole honking thing compared to that little girl tail. The comparison really is a lot like the male/female box turtle tails are. This female mud's little tail reminds me a lot of the female box tails. Little, thin, kind of delicate looking.

Scooter behaves in a docile way but you know, I've never placed him in the company of another turtle.. he's docile with humans but who knows how he'd behave if he ever met another turtle of similar size & species. He could surprise me.
