If this is an obviously lethargic spring for your russian and you're certain something may be wrong, then pursue another vet, or ask this one for a more detailed health panal (was bloodwork done?).

Other things you may check is of course your temperatures, lighting cycles, and perhaps even the intensity of your light. Are the uv bulbs old? Anything different from last year?
