congrats on getting hooked. for your first species i would get a whites treefrog, pacmans are cute when little, but they tend to loose their color when older and they don't really move. whites treefrogs are nocturnal, but if you turn their lights on at 6 am and off around 6 you can see them move around. they are also very hardy and are the most handleable of pretty much all frogs. for them you will need: 15 gallon tank min. lots of plants (broms, snake plants, and birds nest ferns work well), a large water dish, a light dome thing, a basking bulb, bed-a-beast, driftwood, a hand held mister (get the 6$ ones from home depot that are really big, they are the easiest to use) and a screen or glass top. just make srue temps stay above 70. good luck and conatct me if you have any more questions!
