hey. I've got a little female green frog in a 10 gallon tank with a dish for her to swim in and she's doing good. A few minutes ago, I got a call about a spadefoot that had been found at my friends house, and she wanted to know if I could keep it, because she has animals that tend to kill them. I told her I'd take it...but I need to know one thing...

Can they stay in the same tank together and be okay? I know both are nocturnal, and the spadefoot burrows almost constantly. Neither is much bigger than the other, so they won't eat each other.

But my main concern was space. I have a small critter carried or w/e that they sell at petstores, and if needed I can put the toad in that until I can get a bigger tank, but I really don't want to if I don't have to. I don't see why the toad would need much, since it stays burrowed for the majority of the time.

Wherever I put the toad, it won't be there for good, just for a day or two until I can get to the petstore to get another tank. Oh yeah, I had a spadefoot once before, and had it for several months, but it died 3 years ago, so anything you know about spadefoots would be helpful.
