Next time you'll probably want to feed the boa mice pinks. Rat pups are a generally a lot bigger, and they may be too large for the baby boa to handle.

In fact, you may want to feed him a few mouse pinkies if he accepts them, because in the wild, it's not uncommon for Rubber Boas to eat the entire litter if they stumble across the nest.
