I have a pair of blue spiny lizards. They are at least a couple years old and captive bred.

Earlier in the year I noticed the male displaying to the female, but I saw no actual mating.

For the last couple months she has been getting rounder. And up until a few weeks ago she was even eating as much as the much larger male.

But over the ast couple weeks I have not seen her eat anything. She spends most of her time basking under the heat lamp.

Is this typical behavior prior to birth?
