I guess maybe for a few hours, but I seriously wouldnt keep him out there all day and night. There really isnt such a thing as predator proof if you ask me. A raccoon can do serious damage to cages, plus they arent stupid and can figure a way into it. Also, your risking him eating a bad bug, such as a firefly, which would most likely kill your dragon the next day. Not only that, but if it rained unexpectantly... I would say just for a few hours a day, and make sure its half filtered... giving him a shady spot along with a sunny spot.
