is it really all that bad when dne RIGHT

this is only for the sake of discussion. i'm 15 and realize i'd have to be fricken nuts to get a venomous/venomoid.
i'm a snake addict and love learning about reptiles so i take this as another opertunity. when done coreclt by a vet who knows what he's doing, via, he knows the correct anatomy of the snake, and goes the whole 9 yards with pain killers, proper anesthetics, and pain meds for after the procedure, would that really be classified as butchering? putting an animal through an unnessesary operation is bad i believe, but as long as its not a "backyard job"( i would really like those idiots to have thier teeth removed with a spoon)is it really evil?
