It could be, but your lighting, UV, and temps would play a bigger part in regulating that. It is too early of course for hibernation, but a move across country to another latitude and getting used to different light cycles could affect this behavior. As well as a daily commute outside to sunlight, then being brought back in to less of everything. A reptile can be confused and sometimes doesn't do great being moved about too much. They like to get secure in a place. That's why a dedicated outdoor setup is best. If you can't get that, then get a great indoor setup with good light and UV, maybe stationed near a place where you can open up to some outside, but leave the lizard's house stationary.
