I'd love to help you out but I may need a little more information. What does the shell look like again? Could you describe it in great detail and specifically or better yet, take a picture of it and post it on this website or in this forum. That would be fantastic. As for your question about your turtle being overweight; how much does your turtle eat and how often? What does he/she eat? I need a little more info to help you out, but if you are extremely worried, take him/her to the vet and have him examined. Otherwise, give me some more info and I can help you out.
