Posted by: dancetoday at Mon Aug 4 10:39:00 2003 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by dancetoday ] I keep my beardies, cordylus, tegus and uros outside in the summer and the cage a subadult male beardie was in had gotten some screen loose at the top. This orange male got out and had been gone for a couple of days. I'd just moved about two months ago to this neighborhood and have only met a few neighbors as I've been busy with a divorce/custody battle and just moving in with three kids! I have a nice dragon sculpture on the ledge of a front window to my garage, but I didn't think anything of it. My next door neighbor has met our family and my beardies and seemed to like them. So I was surprised and amused (as well as pleased to get my orange male back) yesterday) when getting out of the car after swimming at our neighborhood pool when I got a call from across the street saying "Is this your Komodo dragon?" I said, "No, I don't have any Komodo dragons!" but I went over there to see, and there was my orange guy in a live animal trap. They told me the neighborhood rumor was that the room I'd had built in my garage was for Komodo dragons and that they thought this might be a baby one!
