I have a solo, year old female grandis day gecko, who's in a tank on her own with a basking spot, lots of foliage to hide in, and 75F cool area, with the basking spot being between at roughly 90F. She was sold to me as a male... but then a week later laid a single egg. I don't know if there was two and she ate one(my other female grandis eats one or both of her infertile eggs) but I scooped it out and threw it away. This was August 17th. Next thing I know, there's another egg in there (Sept. 4th) ..just a single egg. So I scoop that one out too, and throw it away. Now she's just sitting in the corner of her tank, on the glass above where the egg was laid, away from her hiding areas and her food bowl. She's looking a little skinny, and has eaten some wax worms and meal worms, but not as much as she usually eats. She is dark in colour, and I think one calcium sac has dissapeared now. She just isn't being herself. Do you think she's eggbound? Or was it possible that the 2nd egg was the 2nd egg ment to come out with the egg she laid on the 14th? Ahh help
