Germaine Greer's Ignorance

I'm sorry to give this 'quick, say something contraversial' spotlight seeker anymore undeserved attention, but something I read in the article jumped out at me and just shows how ignorant and self righteous this woman is.



“I am sick and tired of programs that tell me that the world is full of wicked, nasty, powerful, deadly creatures. Why does Australia set itself up to be made into this hellhole?”



Is she so self involved in her little world to actually think that this is the message Steve Irwin has been trying to convey? If anything, Steve was showing the world that these arent wicked and nasty creatures, but instead, misunderstood and often times feared out of pure ignorance. Germaine Greer needs to pull her head out of her own @$$ and see things for what they really are, not for what she would like to twist them into
