Real heroes often don't live to old age and the man was def. one of my heroes.

Having an iguana and dealing with the attitude everyday (2 foot claws digging into my skin and he climbs me) has taught me that love shows in different ways.

Like my iggy the crocs have that reptile brain that says, "Your in my territory and I'm going to get you out." He loved them anyway, he understood them, knew their needs, and what they were going to do.

It takes a lot to love an animal that is neither kind nor trusting and what he did is something I'm afraid nobody else will be able to repeat.

We have lost a legend! Kirsten.
