I totally love that pic of Steve, its fantastic. He was just enjoying the beauty of the animal, and what he loved. I never met him, and I am not in his field of work. But I do love animals, even the creepy crawlies . He did so much for animals and the environment. He was a great man. The world was a brighter place with him in it. I always thought it would be great to get into a line of work I loved and would be enthusiastic about. I am in the teaching field, and I do enjoy it. So finally after some years of figuring out what I wanted to do, it happened. Steve lived his dream, and now I am too. Thank you Mr Irwin! He touched so many lives, and if we were all a little bit like Steve, things would be much better. Not just his lovable, caring attitude about animals, but the way he was with people, the animals, the passion. I must say, I am still getting teary eyed when I see him on AP, they do that little memorial clip of him saying how he would like to be remembered. My heart aches, and my thougths and prayers are with Terri, Bindi Sue, little Bob, Bob, his sister and all his family and friends and his beloved animals. We lost a great naturalist,an idol, and icon. But the Irwin family lost so much more. My thoughts and prayers are with them. I hope Steve is up there tho, smiling down on us and with his mum and his Sui. CROCS RULE!
