I don't know if he recognizes me specifically, or he just doesn't see people as a threat much anymore, but my solare exhibits nearly no defensive behavior anymore. No puffing when he is picked up, not much horn tilting, no running when you go to pick him up, etc. Unless something else is going on and he is already stressed.
