Hi Can anyone tell me what a gravid anole looks like? We have 1:2 and have seen the mating before. We also noticed that quite often, usually after eating the females, which are not the fattest of anoles and and nowhere near as big as the male have bulges under their ribcage, one iether side.

It is noticeable after they have eaten, and I am wondering, if they are gravid or if this is food. This is never seen in the male but he has a better body weight. We have had them for about 3 months and have never ever found any eggs, it's a bit strange though.
