How long is your waterdragon right now, STL? I can give you an approximate age... they are usually pretty sexeable at 18" STL. There are a couple ways that you could tell... males tend to have larger, darker, more pronounced femoral pores... these are the bumps that run across the inner thigh... females tend to have smaller, less visable, white pores. You can also tell by the hemipenal buldges.. these are located underneath the tail near the vent... NOT underneath the stomach end of the vent.. you can hold your waterdragon on the palm of your hand facing away from you and lift the tail gently and not too far up, there will be either two bumps to indicate male, or one or no bumps to indicate female. You can also tell, usually around the 18" mark, that females have a more pear shaped body and face and a more rounded tail, while males have a larger head more pronounced jowls with a larger crest and will have a crest plate running down the back with larger spikes than a female would have, and have more of a triangular shaped tail.
Do not go by coloration of the throat or armpits, as females can have just as nice coloring as males. If you can throw some pictures up I could be of some assistance.
