Please help me! I am a substitute teacher who is in a classroom with several different critters, and trying to keep them all alive!!! My instructions were that the kids will know how to take care of all of the animals. . . . I am pretty sure that the turtle, tortoise, and fish have been overfed. I was in the classroom last week and found out today that I may be therefor another two weeks.

Anyway, the kids have been feeding the Salamander 3 -4 times a day. The Salamander is an adult and based on pictures I have found seems to be a barred tiger species.

My questions. . .

How much should he be fed? The classroom has a container of meal worms and small beetle type insects.

How often should they be fed?

What should I know to make sure that he survies??? ( The teacher is out on emergency leave because her son was in an accident and has since died. As a result, it is even more important that all of her animals are healthy when she returns.)

Thank You so much for your help!!!!!
