Pacman eating earthworms

Hey everyone. Recently I have been feeding my pacman alot of earthworms. They are essentially his staple food and he loves them. I vary his diet with the occasional crickets and a small mouse. The thing is, he is REALLY lazy, he sits under his moss and barely comes out and he is barely ever exposed enough to snag a given food item that walks by. I generally have to move the moss over ever so slightly, dangle the worms, and he’ll eat up to 4 or 5 in a sitting (this is every other day generally).
So, based on your experience, is this a good choice of food for pacmen? A herpetologist I know said that they love them, and when theyre younger they gobble them up (high in protein and fats, etc). Any down sides to earthworms? Did I get him too accustomed to worms so he is now lazy? Is earthworm nutritional content better than that of crickets and roaches? etc

Thanks for the info.
