I've always felt that, when my frogs chirp, they are happy not horny. Thanks for the reality crusher, (I know, I know. I've heard of the breeding thing, I was just joking). I can promise you that no fake plastic, or inflatable, (sorry, I couldn't help it), frog will make him stop. He will ignore the toy and keep on chirping. (By the way, I liked your description of their vocalization as a "honk".) Just enjoy the fact that you have a happy, though somewhat "deprived" frog who likes to call for you. Thanks for the interesting post, it made me chuckle. Never thought I'd hear another keeper try to identify with his frog's sexual desires. LOL. Take care.
