Stress from shipping/relocating and rehousing a new herp is not uncommon without the 4 hrs in the cold. CWD can stand temps down to 65. His cage is too small. He needs an ambient temp range of 70-75 in a cool area and 84-88 with a 90-94 basking spot on the warm side. His water should be around 77F and not located near the basking light. Since he was "cold" upon arrival, I would keep his temps at the maximum (88F) on the warm side round the clock for his first week to ward off a respiratory infection. Other than changing his water and checking up on him, I would let him acclimate for 5-7 days before becoming unduly concerned. the toes are a common mishap and not usually correctable. Giving him heat (as well as a cool spot to retreat to if he desires) as well as a clean water source is all you can go for him now. Sitting around mouth gaping (open mouthed) is a sign of developing RI and will require vet intervention.
