I forgot the herps I found in B.C.

On the gulf islands of British Columbia I also found:

3 red-legged frogs

5 wandering garter snakes (including 1 anerythristic and two 'blue' phase)

1 red-sided garter snake

8 northwestern garter snakes

8 rough-skinned newts in tiny pond

I tried my luck in the Okanagan as well, but seeing as it was 40 degrees celcius, there was nothing moving.
