We have a female red foot. I am not sure how old she is but I believe under 1 year. We have owned her for 4 months and she just stopped eating about 7 days ago and has loose/mucus bowel movements. We brought her to an exotic vet and was given metronidazole which we have given 2 days now and have 3 more to go. Does anyone know how long it will take to show signs of getting better. We have not gotten a clear answer of exactly what is wrong with her. Breathing is fine and she is walking & soaking fine. any suggestions?
