Are alligator snappers easily stressed?

I have a 4 inch alligator snapper. His enclosure was in a location in my home that had little foot traffic. I just moved him to a place where I could see him more easily and often. Then I was thinking, will the increased foot traffic and me looking at him more often be stressful for him? Thanks for your help.
