I don't know much about the breeding other than they do have very involved courtship rituals. I hope you have a hide box for the female to get away from the male should she want to-just a flat slate rock propped up on another rock should do the trick or a piece of driftwood that she can get under. You can try fooling around with the temps in the tank if you want to get things moving along, and plenty of greenery so they feel more at home. There isn't alot of information about exactly what combination of light, temperature, and water conditions guarantee egg laying. Once the female has the eggs on her back, you might want to take the male out of the tank and house him someplace else so he does not dislodge the eggs with repeated matings.
