Jon,
These two meds are pretty easy to find. The brand of metronidazole I use is made by Sea Chem, it is sold as a fish medication and if you have a good aquarium store nearby they probably sell it. It comes in a little blue vial in crystalline/powdered form with a measuring scoop that measures out 100 mg at a time. As far as the fenbendazole goes, I use the paste that is sold as a horse dewormer. This can be found as the brand panacur, or safe guard, and is 10% fenbendazole in a 25 gram syringe. I just buy this at good local feed & seed store.
I have never had any problems with these drugs, they are relatively safe. There is a possibility of neurological damage with metronidazole if an animal is significantly overdosed. I generally aim to give my geckos a dose of 25-50mg per kg for both drugs. The metronidazole I give 3 of 4 doses spaced 3-4 days apart. With fenbendazole I usually give 4 doses, spaced one week apart. As an afterthought, I am sure you could find these products online. I think they sell them at the bean store and probably plenty of other places.
Doug
