It most likely was the razorback. I'm assuming you mean a razorback musk? I had a small common snapper lose about an inch off his tail to a logger head musk that was less than half the snapper's size. Funny, because I was more worried about the musk. It didn't grow back but the good news is that it did heal up nicely without treatment. I did however seperate the two and made sure that the snappers tank was extra clean while it healed up. Also, while the snappers tail is raw at the end it will be even more "tasty" to the other turtles in the tank so you realy need to seperate them. Also, now you have at least one musk who has discovered a new source of food and he's likely to do it again.
