Anything similar to an O hannah?

I recently failed in an attempt to raise a hatchling O hannah (King Cobra). I knew it was a gamble, but wanted to give it a try. Unfortunately I ended up with one that seemed doomed from the start. She had a stuck shed, refused even live feeders and had to be force-fed, and only made it about two weeks. It broke my heart, but such is the nature of the project.

But, alas, I digress...

Anyway, I am looking for other species that are similar in behavior to the King Cobra. N. melanoleuca (Forest Cobras) are intelligent, but terribly ill-tempered.

I have an albino N. Kaouthia (Monocled cobra) and, though beautiful and fascinating, she doesn't seem to be what I would call intelligent.

Any of you experienced Naja keepers have any suggestions for a Naja that is intelligent enough to seem interested with you like a King, without acting like they are interested in EATING you like a Forest? LOL
