but Telescopus, T. semiannulatus to be exact. Also known as the Tanzanian Tiger Snake, Tanzanian Cat Snake or Tierslang. Kind of the African equivalent to Leptodeira. I really like these little guys and hope they will breed for me in the next year or two. Unfortunatley, there is very little published about them (that I can find anyway), so I am kind of winging it with them. I had some T. dhara (plain brown Egyptian subspecies) many years ago and they proved to be very trouble-free, but I did not keep them long enough to attempt breeding them. Either way, these are indeed very cool and interesting creatures and I am looking forward to learning more about them.

>>I wasn't aware of the name "Eastern Tiger", but these are no doubt the "Cat-Eyed Snake", aka "Night Snake" of the genus (Leptodeira). Those are really cool looking animals for sure!! >>----- >>Better to be silent and thought a fool, than to open mouth and remove any doubt!
