NO! It is never a good idea to house different species together. Territorial aggression can result in intimadated non-feeding animals, fighting, & possible health concerns. All imported or captive hatched plateds (from WC imports) can get various transferable parasites. Animals housed together with out quarantine can become infected. Please treat with Panacur & flagyl, & have vet do fecal exam. Good practice is to quarantine all new animals for 90 days before introduction to groups of their species. During this time they are deparasitised, checked for developing respiratory infection, and other possible illnesses. Since you where general on your question I have tried to cover all the basics. Hope this enlightens you any concerns.
