My female Russian has been going crazy lately. She appears to be much more restless than usual. The male has been chilling as usual, but she appears to be insatiable with her appetite, and constantly knocking about the sides of her tank. Is it possible she is looking for a nest site? She is not backing into areas and digging "test" pits, but is digging down head first like trying to escape the tank. Any suggestions?? I plan to put her and the male in a bit bigger cage, but not glass and deeper to allow about eight inches of sand/soil mix in case she is gravid.
