You should stop by Ottawa and look for one of these. A melanistic garter.







I also saw quite a few Blandings in the area. I didn't get to hit the Oak openings area as I was with friends on a birding trip. It's warbler season at Crane Creek.







Is that Mizanin as in Mike Mizanin? Just had to ask.



As for the spotted site, if you know Jason you can ask him. He knows where it's at and if he knows you I don't mind if he tells you. I just don't want to put it out on a forum for everyone to see.
