Posted by: tegu24 at Sun Apr 8 21:07:38 2007 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by tegu24 ] the pics below are of my old setup, i will try to put some of my new one in a 40 gal breeder up soon. i have mine in with rosie reds, gold/white clouds, leapord & zebra danios and ghost shrimp. i have a few small bromeliads, a large arum, a cluster of pothos above water, the broms are planted on the wood in the tank. in the water i have a few dwarf amazon swords and a few wendti (?). they tank is setup as fully aquatic with several large pieces of malaysian driftwood and ghost wood in the tank. there is alos a lot of live moss in the tank. i have a fluval 1 series filter making a water fall at one end of the tank and a decrotive reptofilter waterfall at the other end, which i put a 170 ghp pump in to increase water flow. the substrate is flourite clay gravel. there are 5 oriential fbt's, 1 european fbt, 1 japanese fbn, and one chinese fbn. as for those who will critize this mix, i have not lost one fish (other than being eaten) or any toads or newts in the six years they have all been together. not saying something bad could happen, but i have never once had a problem (other than one extemely humpy toad). i will see if i can post pice tomorrow, but the ones below are of the old, more basic setup.
