hi Matt, if you only have 1.1 pair, you might want to keep them separate except for conjugal visits occasionally. (Have an article from a German breeder, the female Giant Musk lost an eye after being raised with the male).

If you have 1.2 or more females, then it's probably safer since the male has several females to distract him....
