i have a friend who has a hatchling alligator snapping turtle and has had if for about five months and it has suddenly developed slighty transparent milky white "balls" of something around each of its two front feet i asked him if the turtle has been acting strangely and he replied with "not really but he has been digging a bit more than usual" i am wondering if any of you have had any kind of similar situation in the past. i told my friend to take the turtle and put him in a more simplistic set up without the gravel to dig in and just a piece of lace rock so as to provide some sort of shelter and security for the turtle. i was also wondering if any of you have ever seen anything like what i described above in the way of scabs on the turtle. thanks in advance everyone.
