Not sure if any of you guys have bothered trying live rodents at all, but I have a female A.nasuta that eats live fuzzy mice weekly. I have noticed with the Ahaetulla that it is more about movement than scent. If the prey doesn't move "correctly" they either pay no attention to it or flee. I make sure the fuzzies I feed her are developed enough that they can run around and usually within 30 minutes she eats it. If you haven't tried your's with rodents yet, I would definitely give it a shot. Also, I always keep my vines covered up so that they can't see outside of the enclosure. I find this has also helped with their overall health and activity.
