i'm afriad she was wrong....well to a point. here's a good caresheet. they need to be estivated, from oct to february, you have to 'redecorate' their tank. if you don't, it can lead to respiration problems.

On youtube, this one user has a budgetts frog. it looks awesome, a great eater. On the first link, the tank is regular.. on the second link, the frog seems to be ready to 'estivate'. It might be a litte more work than say...a pacman.
