I wouldn't put more than like 1.4 in there though myself. If that. As far as books there are only 2 that I know of: Tokay Gecko Care by Allen R. Both, and General Care and Maintenance of Tokay Gecko and Related Species by Sean McKeown and Jim Zaworski. They are pretty good books. What do you mean by putting screen or glass in? If you mean in the front its all up to you glass will help keep humidity in but if you dont have vents in the cage there will be no air flow. There are alot of people breeding Tokay's so its pretty easy to find a breeder. Contact me and I'll put you in contact with a few.
