Posted by: Langi at Tue May 15 20:11:10 2007 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Langi ] I just rescued a small common snapper from the middle of a busy intersection (stupid turtle). I'm doing a reptile presentation at the library in a couple months and he would make a great addition. I just wanted to see if anyone here knows the laws about keeping wild caught snapping turtles. I will not be keeping him permanently, just a couple months until after my presentation. I know the laws vary from state to state of if there are any Okies here I would much appreciate any knowledge you guys could give me. Also any tips on their care would be very helpful.
