I purchased a cb wood turtle in Feb. of this year. After an initial acclimation period of about two weeks he/she took off and ate almost anything offered...from pinkies, worms and crickets to prepared aquatic turtle sticks. Now for some reason it has significantly reduced feeding and refuses anything other than turtle sticks...and it will only take a few of them at a time. Nothing in its' environment has changed really and I am puzzled as to why it has slowed down so much...is there a summer aestivation or perhaps since it skipped hibernation last season, could there be some seasonal confusion...any advice?
