So far as had been tested, then all 'rear fanged' except for boomslangs don't inject any venom. The venom is produced in a proper venom gland and trickles out much the same way saliva does in us. The ducts are usually located at the base of the fangs so it does come out straight into the wound.
The boomslang is different as it has a basic form of injection as well as a deeply grooved fang, fangs are also movable so they can swing forward a little. A separate form of venom delivery compared to other species.
