My husband brought home an Alligator lizard yesterday. I am scrambling to set up the proper habitat for it. Right now I have it in a 10 gal aquarium, but will get a larger one on pay day. I believe this one is a female. I am not sure of age, nor sub-species. Any help would be great. She looks to have lost her tail at one point, but it has grown back. She is missing a hind foot. Will it grow back? I will try to attach a picture.
