I have a very strong desire to try breeding eastern, and red western coachwhip snakes. Can anyone who is raising them hook me up? I have only ever seen one, in person. One which I ran down and caught in Tampa Fla around 1974. It was a really beautiful snake with high contrast between the dark head and the cream body. As I recall, it was the fastest and hardest to catch snake I have ever run down. I live in the piedmont of NC, where I am always on the lookout for snakes. About the only thing I have been able to find around here are big and very nice black rat snakes. My 1.1 mexican milks just laid 7 eggs. I am really excited as these are my first. I have raised a lot of large parrots in the past but gave them up due to the noise. I am just getting started with raising snakes although I have been herping since I was about 5 and lived in Thailand.
