thanks for your advice. Betadine is what I used as per my vets recommendation. She is not my tort unfortunately but my advice to the owner was not to put her back with the male and to divide the pen for her. Her human owner seems to have some trouble with the idea that she doesn't "miss" her fella. This tort is 50 pounds or so but her bo is bigger. She healed up her wounds fine and has since gone home. I HOPE her owner listened to advice and didn't just stick her back in with him! I have my fingers crossed for her.
